The assault on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 is one of the scariest and darkest days in American history. Fed by months of scandalous and spurious conspiracy theories about the end result of the 2020 Presidential Election by Donald Trump and his most loyal foot soldiers, thousands of Trump supporters armed with violent intentions, dissent and rage stormed the US Capitol, destroying entrances, windows and doors in an attempt to disrupt a joint session of Democrats and Republicans as they certified the election results of the 2020 election. It was chaired by Vice-President Mike Pence who led the procedure with careful attention to the Constitution. Despite that, Republicans in the joint session who believe in Trump's brainless and dangerous conspiracy theories about the election contested the procedure fruitlessly. Of course, it is legal to contest anything but the reason for it was baseless and a gigantic waste of time and taxpayer money. Instead of committing themselves to the ...

I firmly believe that conspiracy theories have been around since the dawn of time. Since humans were capable of thinking of ways to get the upper hand against their most challenging and ominous opponents in politics, military, domestics, and social standing, conspiracy theories led the charge to discredit, weaken, neutralize or even kill its victims in the end. Call it survival, intense competition, malice, psychological disruption or just plain evil. It doesn't matter how you look at it. Conspiracy theories are there to bring people down. That's its sole purpose and nowadays you see it occur again and again in a frightening and mind-boggling pace. History is a treasure trove of such events many people can look back to in order to see how it influenced populations and regions within specific timelines of our past. I believe on of the most notorious and deadliest conspiracy theories to ever come out was anti-Semitism. As many people already know, as a means to rise to power, Ado...

Millions of indigenous people have called the entire continents of North and South America their home for tens of thousands of years. They were the first ones to have arrived to the continents via the Bering Strait bridge that was existent during the last ice age. Since then, they have developed into numerous tribes and confederacies that implemented unique agricultural, cultural, culinary, hunting, foraging, spiritual, and linguistic practices that were mirrored by their way of life and construction outlook. Naturally, some of them were at war with each other. Others worked and lived together in peace and harmony. Each piece of the land they had, had distinct characteristics. I find that aboriginals knew the lands better than anyone else. They knew exactly how to tame it without harming it. They knew how much should be taken without causing grave disturbances to the ecosystem. Indigenous groups bonded with the land culturally and spiritually and respected it. They knew what they were ...

In my opinion, the 2020 general election in America is the most controversial and critical election the United States and the world community have seen in decades. Never before have I seen so many big figures in business, entertainment, politics, and activism pleading with people to vote. The reason for it is simple. Many of them see Donald Trump's first term in office as an absolute calamity of epic proportions. The United States have experienced foreign and domestic turmoil and disarray. Even the sacred foundation of democracy is teetering on the brink of collapse. Extremism, racism, and social inequality have seen rapid increases under Donald Trump. With all this in mind, it is important to note why so many people want to see Trumps' removal from office during this year's general election. Historians and many people from the general public see Donald Trump as the worst president in American history. His campaign run for reelection is reinforcing this vision concretely as...

First off, I would like to make myself clear on something. In no way will I claim that all police officers are bad. Generalization is false because it puts good, venerable, and acclaimed law enforcement members in a disputable light. There are wonderful police officers who risk their lives in protecting and serving their communities. They're doing what they can to make their neighborhoods safe, clean, and friendly, not only for them, but also for regular law-abiding citizens. Many of them have own showed solidarity to the Black Lives Movement and kneeled on the street to show their unwavering support to the movement in many affected towns and cities across the United States of America. Many of them fear the possibility of not returning to their families. Now this concern is more apparent than it ever has been before. To my utter dismay, there are police officers with a different agenda that have made the lives of their peers extremely difficult and stressful. Abuse of power, raci...

Climate change has been in the forefront of environmental awareness and innovation for decades now. I'm sure many of you have already seen countless television commercials advertising the companies' desire to promote environmental protection by reducing carbon emissions, harnessing and using sustainable green energy, reduction of plastic materials and products and lobbying for government recognition to focus on future development with an emphasis on environmentalism. Thanks to increased education, scientific research and effective activism, more and more people are realizing the necessity to conserve energy, recycle, use less, and adopt new green energy applications to better their lives and their communities and future generations.  The human race has the technology, innovation and know-how to research, develop, and install groundbreaking new programs to conserve energy, use alternative sources of fuel, and reducing the carbon footprint. Due to immense pressure from proactive ...

I remember well when Justin Trudeau made headlines in 2015 for a spot in Canada's coveted top office. His victory as a member of the federal Liberals made a big splash that was felt in many countries around the world. I guess we can see why his name was plastered all over international newspapers, magazines and news outlets from different television channels. Even people who haven't even heard of Canada's current prime minister at the time learned about him through these sources of information. He is young, charismatic and seemed progressive and open for opportunities. But not all that glitters is gold. It has been over five years since Justin Trudeau has been Canada's Prime Minister. We have seen plenty of surprises, and I have been surprised as well. Trudeau has done great things for the Canada too and I have noted them as well.  Like any politician, a candidate to any countries' top executive post as Commander-in-chief makes a bunch of promises to encourage the v...
